Easier parcel management and loyalty cards storing – Allegro introduces new features to its mobile app

Over seven million users are now actively using the Allegro mobile app every month. With the introduction of new features, users can store their loyalty cards, use the eBilet.pl service and list on Allegro Lokalnie more easily. Recent changes also bring seamless parcel management with a new My parcels feature.

As much as 77% of internet users shop online1. They are also increasingly willing to do it with mobile apps, which is confirmed by the growing number of active users of the Allegro app, which already amounted to 7 million per month! As the app grows more popular, Allegro continues to develop new solutions, having recently introduced a number of leading-edge features for its users.
One app, multiple possibilities
The newly introduced features provide users with a number of new functionalities - one of them being the ability to store loyalty cards. This handy solution allows users to easily add and store their loyalty cards for all shops, including stationary ones, in one place and to use them whenever needed. The new features also mean easier listing on Allegro Lokalnie and access to thousands of cultural and sporting events available on eBilet.pl making the selection even wider.

Allegro users now also have easier access to all parcel information thanks to My parcels, a feature available only in the mobile app. It is visible right on the app’s homepage, giving users one-click access to the delivery status and enabling them to check the expected delivery date or remotely open the Allegro One Box and display the QR code for Inpost’s Paczkomat.

Our app is the most popular online shopping app in Poland by number of monthly users. However, our ambitions go even further, as we see great potential for it to become an aid for consumers throughout the whole shopping process. The new functionalities we have introduced not only extend the range of products with tickets available through eBilet, but also make it possible to access all shopping-related information from a single place: storing loyalty cards, more easily accessing shipping details and collecting parcels. To meet the expectations of our over 7 million customers, we are constantly working on new functionalities which we want to announce in the near future.

The Allegro app offers a number of benefits right from the moment of download. New users gain 5 Coins just for installing it and another 5 Coins for the first completed purchase, which allows them to pay less on the purchases. The application also offers an easy search. This is largely made possible by innovative solutions such as visual search, which enables users to find active offers in various categories (including supermarket, health & beauty, culture & entertainment, home & garden, fashion and many others) simply by uploading a photo of the desired item. Within the app, it is easy to have an overview of the relevant information also after the purchase: with the My parcels feature, users can manage and collect their parcels even more conveniently. The Allegro app is available for download on Google Play and AppStore - the new functionalities are available for version 7.66 on Android and 6.66 on iOS.
