Allegro Smart! Week is over: thousands of new Smart! users, surprising bestsellers and nearly PLN 70M saved!
  • The 2021 edition of the Smart! Week was bigger than the 2020 event and attracted many new Allegro Smart! users.
  • Between September 27th and October 3rd clients were buying an average of 3 million items per day and saved nearly PLN 70M thanks to special deals of up to 70% off and free shipping.
  • Those merchants who listed discounted offers enjoyed higher sales with 72% more products sold than on an average day.
  • In the third quarter of 2021, for the first time in Allegro's history, the number of all offers available to customers exceeded 250M.
The 2021 edition of the Allegro Smart! Week outperformed the previous ones in terms of the number of offers, available products and savings they helped generate.

Our ambition is to give customers best prices, wide selection of products and excellent delivery experience. This year we broke another record. During the Smart! Week our clients were buying an average of 3 million items per day. The leading categories were: home & garden, health & beauty, supermarket and of course electronics. It proves that Allegro became a place where Poles buy whatever they need - everyday products necessary to run a household and desired electronic or entertainment gadgets as well. But of course it wouldn’t happen without our sellers. We worked hard last year to improve our sourcing approach and mechanisms which resulted in even better prices for customers. Together, with our merchants, we have prepared over 2M offers at attractive prices.

Aleksandra Sroka-Krzyżak, Strategy Director at Allegro

Allegro’s 7-day long shopping festival had a very positive impact on sellers’ businesses. Those who listed discounted offers enjoyed higher sales with 72% more products sold than on an average day. 80% of platform sales from Smart! Week special offers were from third party sellers that usually are small- or mid-sized businesses. Sales of over 8K Polish SMEs offering their products within the Smart! Week festival exceeded 98M PLN.
During the Smart! Week on average the event home page was visited 7 times a second. The most popular categories were: home & garden, health & beauty, supermarket and electronics. Products that sold out the fastest were Lego Speed Champions Ferrari F8 Trubtio (11 seconds) and Xiaomi Dreame V11 (less than 1 minute!). Almost  98% of Allegro orders were delivered within 1-2 days.
