Every merchant who adds an offer on Allegro defines the condition of the product they offer so that buyers can filter search results by new, used, used and defective, etc. (depending on the category). On 16 June, Allegro changed its Terms & Conditions, adding detailed product condition parameters to make the platform operate more efficiently and help customers navigate through the offers.

Original, unopened packaging and intact manufacturer’s markings are required for a product to be labelled as “New” (e.g. clothing tags). If the item has been taken out of the original box even for a while but does not show any signs of wear, it should be labelled as “Open Box”, “Repackaged” or “New without Tag”.
