The largest European marketplace is already here – Allegro opens to Czech merchants.
  • Allegro, the largest marketplace from Europe and the owner of brands such as MALL, CZC and WE|DO, has just launched the allegro.cz platform in the Czech Republic.
  • The platform invites local entrepreneurs to sign up and enjoy a range of benefits prepared for the first companies to register, including the Welcome Programme, a commission-free sale starter pack.
  • The company has prepared a range of solutions for merchants such as Smart!, the loyalty programme offering consumers free delivery and returns.
As of today, Czech companies can register and prepare their offers to start selling on allegro.cz, a new marketplace platform that connects merchants with millions of buyers. For the first merchants to sign up on the new platform, Allegro has prepared a range of features, special offers and tools to facilitate sales on the new channel.

The launch of the Czech platform is a milestone in our ambition to create the most popular e-commerce platform for buyers and merchants in this part of Europe. At the same time, we provide local merchants with the opportunity to expand their business with a trusted partner that brings years of experience and e-commerce expertise to the Czech sellers

Alvise Favara, Chief Commercial Officer at Allegro

With an average number of users at 22 million and more than 14 million active buyers a month, Allegro has the largest customer base in CEE. By opening to Czech merchants, the company sets out to expand the selection of products and create an even more tailored range for Czech consumers.
An international brand, a local platform
A number of solutions have been prepared to facilitate sales on the new platform for Czech merchants. Allegro offers them logistics solutions provided by WE|DO an Allegro brand and subsidiary that provides consumers with their preferred delivery methods: courier services, parcel lockers and pick-up points. The carrier’s services will be supplemented by Zásilkovna’s logistics solutions. Merchants can offer buyers delivery to more than 12,000 locations. In addition, the platform offers buyers free delivery over a certain order value and free returns within a monthly or annual package under the Smart! programme. This is an opportunity for merchants to increase the visibility and appeal of their listings at little expense.
For the first merchants to register, Allegro has prepared a special Welcome Program; merchants who sign up by the end of June 2023 will receive a discount of up to 100% on sales commission. The special offer is valid until the end of September 2023 and helps save up to CZK 250,000 on commission fees (up to CZK 50,000 a month). This allows merchants to start selling and explore the new platform without worrying about costs.
How does the Allegro marketplace work?
Allegro.cz is based on the marketplace model, which means that merchants list their products on Allegro and sell them directly to buyers. Throughout the process, Allegro provides its partners with access to state-of-the-art technologies, a number of convenient delivery and payment methods, as well as marketing and educational support (webinars, tutorials and online courses), all without fixed service fees. With advanced sales management tools, merchants have full control over their listings, as well as their prices and visibility. All platform’s features, including the contact centre and chats, are available in Czech.
To start selling on the platform, store owners need to register directly on Allegro.cz. The registration form and details are available at dedicated website.
