Consumers made a purchase every half a second on average this year’s Smart! Week

This year’s Smart! Week closed with a record number of transactions! The most popular categories with shoppers were Supermarket, Electronics and Health & Beauty, which sold hundreds of thousands of products each.

Smart! Week is a festival for true bargain hunters; as shown by data, customers made a purchase on the platform every half a second on average! The best-selling categories were:
  • Supermarket: customers mainly bought groceries and cleaning products
  • Electronics: the most popular items were brown and white goods
  • Health & Beauty: customers usually chose beauty products 
  • Home & Garden: most purchases were recorded in decorations and ornaments. 
Everyone could find something for themselves during Smart! Week, although some of the best offers were available for Allegro Smart! users only - taking into account only these offers, customers saved PLN 18 million in total! The best Smart! Week offers usually sold in the Allegro app in mere seconds. Those were 4F sweatpants, Bissell air purifiers, Nintendo Switch consoles and iPhone 14 Pros. 
Users usually shopped within two time intervals, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The greatest number of transactions were recorded on Monday (15 May) and Wednesday (17 May). 
Smart! Week is also addressed to merchants, with the number of sellers participating in this year’s event increasing by 15%. Allegro gives them access to more than 14 million active buyers across Poland, ensuring a range of tools for an instant boost in sales.
