Allegro Black Weeks – get the best deals at up to 50% off!

Black Week is a shopping event highly anticipated by consumers around the world. It is nowadays customary to extend the sale until the following Monday (Cyber Monday) or even over the whole week (Black Week) or month (Black Month). Polish consumers also like to shop during this period. As shown by the Allegro survey, more than one in two respondents admit they use special offers during Black Week. To meet customer expectations, Allegro has extended its biggest shopping holiday to 25 days, making this year’s Allegro Black Weeks last until November 30. During this time, customers can choose from hundreds of thousands of products at discounted prices!  

Black Friday, Week or Month, or how Poles shop

Over the years, Black Week has earned a reputation for the best deals of the year. The survey shows that 65% of Poles view Black Week prices as attractive compared to the rest of the year. As many as 94% of consumers admit that they managed to get a really satisfactory deal in that period at least once. The value offered by Black Week is confirmed by the fact that as many as 77% of respondents deliberately hold off certain purchases until November deals. To them, Black Week is an important period when they can find attractive offers and save on purchases. It is also a time of deliberate choices, with 66% of customers planning in advance what products they will buy during this period and 34% choosing to shop spontaneously. In addition, more than one in three consumers say they plan to spend between PLN 200 and 500. 
Black Week sales were extended as a result of evolving consumer needs. While most respondents (49%) use special offers all week, more than one in three consumers (38%) are strongly attached to specific shopping days such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The categories consumers find most interesting during the upcoming Black Week festivals are fashion (48%) and electronics (45%), followed by beauty (20%). Other popular choices include Christmas presents, with one in four respondents often deciding to buy them during Black Week, which is an opportunity to make significant savings without having to buy their loved ones gifts of poorer quality. The top three categories among men are electronics (58%), fashion (38%), as well as culture & entertainment offers (13%). Women usually browse through offers in fashion (56%), electronics (34%) and beauty (30%).

*The survey entitled “Black Weeks 2023” was conducted by SW Research for Allegro. 1,010 questionnaires were administered to a representative sample of adult Poles in terms of gender, age and place of residence. The survey was conducted on 31/10–2/11/2023 using the computer-assisted web interviewing (CAWI) technique in SW Panel.
